The Funtana Tourist Board is pleased to announce the first Fishermen’s Fest of the year, taking place on Friday, 5 June, at 6:00 PM on the Funtana waterfront. This popular summer event marks the beginning of a season that brings together the sea, music, gastronomy, and great entertainment.
In 2026, Funtana will host a total of seven Fishermen’s Festivals, scheduled for 5 and 26 June, 3, 17 and 31 July, 14 August, and 4 September. Throughout the summer, the waterfront will once again be a vibrant meeting point for both locals and visitors looking to enjoy good company and the charm of warm evenings by the sea.
The opening night will feature a lively music program with performances by Le Monde Band and Alfa Time Band, ensuring a great atmosphere well into the evening.
Guests can also enjoy a wide selection of seafood specialties, including grilled sardines, mussels buzara, grilled squid, fried small fish, mackerel, sea bream, sea bass, and many other fresh dishes from the sea.
For younger visitors, a themed children’s corner with free sea-inspired workshops will offer fun, creativity, and an introduction to the marine world in a playful setting.
The Fishermen’s Festival in Funtana once again combines great food, music, and a true summer vibe, creating memorable evenings by the sea for all generations.
